It started with a letter...
While serving as a youth pastor in Florida, Jimmy was asked by a father in his church to write a letter to his son who was incarcerated. That letter got written but it set something into motion.
A few years later after moving to York, PA to start Daybreak Church, after praying about what to communicate to the community, God responded with four words.
Don't do life alone.
For years now encouraging letters have been exchanged and those four words of hope continue to take on new life, but we feel that they are bigger than one community. Everybody needs hope, but real hope can only be found in one place. Jesus. Once you find hope you can't keep it to yourself.
Don't do life alone exists to share hope one word, one song, and one conversation at a time. Regardless of what life may bring your way friend, don't do life alone.
