Redemption Cries and Waits

poem.jpg

Whispers in the dark, whispers in your heart. What holds you back from reaching for afar?

Hurt may leave a scar, but grows us far past the mark, of yesterday's losses and the chance to be sub par.

The broken keep on choking, on the pieces caused by pain. But God is not finished. In the drought He brings the rain.

You can't run back to find your dream. Your hope is forward, so change the scene.

The promise from the pain, it's still calling loud your name. Things don't have to stay the same unless you miss the chance to change lanes.

But redemption cries and waits, for you to step into your place. It's time to get up off the ground and let Your father's love abound.
